CRATE St James Street was founded in 2019 and has been a hub for the community ever since. We’re proud of all the businesses in CRATE, and independent traders, creatives and artists we work with every week. You can find everything you need at CRATE.

Jive Me To The Moon is back again this Thursday from 7pm! The weather will be gorgeous so why not spend your evening jive dancing. There'll be a beginners class and improver's class, followed by a social with a live DJ set.

We’re thrilled to welcome @corno_rosso to CRATE – bringing some Sicilian sunshine to St James Street.

Chef Giovanni has dreamed of opening his own business for years, having worked as a pizza chef in locations across London, Manchester and Liverpool, including ‘O Ver in London Bridge. Now, he’s serving up fresh pizza and pasta dishes for CRATE customers, with ragu – and tiramisu for dessert - made by his partner Veronica.

Cali (@caliberry_sweats) is a local PT who runs two classes every week here at CRATE – Feel Good Fridays and Happy HIIT.

Happy HIIT is a community class run on a pay-what-you-can basis. No need to book, you can just turn up and take part, and kids are welcome too! This is a circuits class designed to get your heart rate up using bodyweight exercises and is suitable for all fitness levels.

📍 Every Sunday at 10.30am on the upper deck of CRATE.

Feel Good Fridays do require booking in advance – please see the link in our bio for Cali’s website and the Eventbrite booking page. This is a slightly more technical class using weights but is still open to all fitness levels and newcomers are completely welcome.

New Qi Gong classes with @angelozphoto start on Saturday 1 March!

Classes will be every Saturday at 8.45am.

Qi Gong combines mindful movement, breathing techniques and meditation, and is suitable for all.

-If you’re a parent or caregiver for a baby under one, come along to Bubbas Who Lunch! This is a new monthly meet up, and with your ticket you’ll get a lunch, side and a cold or hot drink from the brilliant @longandshortcoffee. There will be a play area, opportunities to meet others with young children and a few snacks for babies aged six months and over.

-The ever popular Dinner Club returns with two special Valentine’s events on the 13 and 15 February.
“This is an event for everyone: partners, lovers, family or friends. A day to celebrate those we love! Chef Martin will deliver a seasonal menu of 3 courses with extras. You can choose between the omni or vegetarian menu. Lots of creativity and beautiful ingredients go into making these dishes, and it’s great fun to do and a joy to eat!

Is your body in need of some TLC after the Christmas break? Want free support with an ache or pain?

@lsmclinicuk is holding their free monthly posture clinic on Wednesday, 15 Jan 10:30-12:30, at Papa Bagel in Leyton.

You’ll get a free 15-minute posture and movement assessment, an explanation of what we’re seeing / how it relates to your question, and self care advice such as a stretch, exercise and/or posture adjustment. They’ll also point you to any free resources they have that might be helpful with your issue.

They commonly see:
- neck pain
- shoulder pain
- knee pain
- back pain
- muscle aches & tiredness
- requests for training support
